H1 Genuine cylinder wear.

H1 Genuine cylinder wear.

This is a photo of the wear on the H1 genuine cast iron sleeve cylinder.
This photo shows the state of the huge IN/EX ports, which have been abnormally worn above and below, after boring an H1 cylinder to the piston size requested by a customer, and cannot be completely removed.

This is a photo of the underside of the INTAKE port, and because the piston skirt moves up and down with jumping into the port, the skirt inevitably hits the top and bottom of the port hard, causing significant wear.
In this case, a piston one size larger must be prepared and boring must be performed again.

Moreover, even if the clearance is properly created and boring and honing is performed, this wear occurs quite quickly.

While the huge IN/EX ports provide great power, the abnormal wear occurs, which is a common characteristic of the Mach, such as the H1/H2, and owners have accepted the slap and ring noises as unavoidable.

The H1/H2-ICBM® cylinder, which uses iB's ICBM® technology, aims to fundamentally solve this unfortunate weakness of the Mach.
I would like to talk more about this endeavor later.
