Sleeve product
CNC Lathe machine shaves out sleeves from heat treated A6061-T6 hard alumnum materials.

Machining 2-stroke port
3D CAD/CAM program controlled CNC machining center cuts 2-stroke port hole on sleeve wall. After that, skilled technicians hand-finish the port shape fit to each cylinder barrel exactly.

Plateau Honing
After plating, plateau honing with diamond grindstone is processed.
Plated cylinders are too hard, so you can not running in the cylinder bore surface. So, plate cylinders must be finished with "plateau-honing" that does not require running in. iB has been experienced this bore finishing technology over 40 years!
About plating
Nickel silicone carbide plating has outstanding durability
Almost NO WORN DOWN.
Nickel base special plating with silicone particles. Vickers hardness scale 450 compare with about 150 or so of cast iron, silicone particles incomparable hardness is 2000!
